When it comes to modern toys, almost everything these days requires batteries or an Internet connection or something! This is why we are so happy about companies like Twisterz making great, educational toys that do not require batteries! Simple, fun and effective learning tools, these toys will help your children. Twisterz was kind enough to send us a sample of the Alphabet Matcher. For the price, this is a wonderful gift for small boys or girls who are learning their alphabet and how to read. The Alphabet Matcher was reviewed by a 4 year old girl (who just turned four actually) who loved it. While her mother had to help clean up all the pieces, this could also be used as a teaching opportunity for kids on how to pick up their toys and keep them nice so they are all there the next time they want to play with them.
As with other toys by Twisterz, the Alphabet Matcher is a great way for parent and child to interact together while learning. That said, children are apt to take to playing with this on their own. Even if they’re not getting everything correct, it’s a good way for them to practice their letters and become familiar with them.
You can take our word that this is a great toy, or you can check out the reviews on Amazon. The Alphabet Matcher also was listed on the 100 Best Children’s Products for 2010 by Dr. Toy (Stevanne Auerbach, PhD) If you haven’t heard of her, she knows toys and children very well and a hat tip from her is a very good indication of a quality product.
If you love the Alphabet Matcher – and we’re sure you and your son or daughter will – you’re going to like the other products available by Twisterz.
If you are tired of your children sitting in front of the computer or television or playing with the latest electronic “learning toys” then you need to take a serious look at the selection of great educational toys from Twisterz.
As the Alphabet Matcher is played with, there may be more updates, so stay tuned. As it stands, this is a great, inexpensive way to entertain and educate a small child all without the need of batteries or flashing lights and annoying sounds. Check it out today!K. Paul Mallasch
