Picking toys for toddlers is never easy, especially if you’re trying to find something that is educational in addition to being fun. There are, however, plenty of great toys for your 3 year old to play with that will stimulate them mentally in addition to being fun.
It’s important for children of this age to build their imagination. Giving them the Pretend and Play Doctor Set allows your 3 year old to use their own creativity to play. It includes all the things a child would see in the doctor’s office. At this age, it’s important for your child to learn to be creative as well as learn skills.
The Leapfrog Scribble and Write is a great travel toy for your 3 year old because it’s light and can be reused over and over. If you need something to keep your child entertained for hours while you’re away from all their favorite toys, you might consider bringing this along. The Scribble and Write teaches your child writing skills by having them trace glowing lights on the screen.
If you’re trying to get your toddler into astronomy, you might be interested in looking at the Twilight Turtle Constellation Nightlight. The Twilight Turtle nightlight projects 8 real constellations onto the walls and ceilings, allowing your child to explore the night sky while they drift off into sleep. It’s a great way to sit with your child and teach them about the beauty of nature, even if you’re unable to see it.

In today’s toy market, it can be daunting to find educational toys for five year old girls. There are many toys available and many of them are electronic. We can turn to a couple of classic educational toys that stand out from the rest.
butterfly-garden
Any 5 year old girl will love learning about the lifecycle of a butterfly with her very own butterfly garden. Girls love collecting flowers for and feeding the caterpillar. They spend days anticipating the change to butterfly. A butterfly garden creates an up close and personal opportunity to learn about life cycles. Being a participant in the transformation from caterpillar to cocoon to butterfly is an exciting early glimpse into biology. A butterfly garden can be used again and again providing hours and years of educational enjoyment.
Another truly classical toy is the artist easel for children. 5 year old girls can explore textures and create with paints, pastels, and crayons to their hearts delight. Artistic expression is important at any stage of life, especially for young children.
An easel at a young girl’s fingertips gives her the fuel she needs to let her imagination run wild. Drawing, doodling, and painting allows young girls to recreate their imaginative and expressive sides onto paper. An easel gives them freedom to paint and draw with ease. A double-sided easel will allow two children to work together as they express themselves and learn through their creativity. Girls and boys alike will enjoy this durable and educational toy.

Two year olds are very curious and busy little people. They are constantly on the move running and investigating everything in sight. The best toys for two year olds in 2009 are those that keep them just as busy and allow them to use their imaginations.
LEGO Duplo Blocks
Lego Duplo blocks are a great tool for creativity for your two-year-old. They are larger than the normal Legos, which makes them safe for kids who still put things in their mouths, and yet are still full of possibilities for playing using their imagination. There are many different sets, including some that are themed, such as Bob the Builder, circus, and zoo.
The Radio Flyer Wagon is an old time favorite. Don’t you remember walking through the neighborhood pulling your “little red wagon,” or being pulled along in it by your mother, father, brother, sister, or friend? It’s great for hauling your child’s other things around, and fun and useful for trips to the park or amusement park as well.
We mustn’t leave out toys that are especially attractive to little girls. At 2 years old they are little mimics and will copy grownup activities as often as they can get away with them. The best toy to get your two year old girl is a doll, with a toy stroller. She should be equipped with a diaper bag, change of clothes and a couple magic bottles. She’ll feel just like mommy while caring for her own little bundle of joy.
