Justice League action figures have been one of the favorite toys of boys for years although adults have now become interested in them as collectibles. The Justice League is a team made up of several superheros. Good attention to detail is apparent at first glance, with the figure’s gloves, coat, shoes, and other items of clothing executed well in terms of texture. The folds in the necktie and shirt collar, and the creases in the pants and vest are convincing, although the plastic used for his coat can limit the toy’s range of movement. The colors are mostly movie accurate as well, except for the undershirt being in a different color from the actual movie character’s.

The head is recognizable as Ledger’s Joker, although the likeness is not as precise. The sculpting of the green hair is decent, although upon closer inspection, the figure’s Glasgow grin departs from the Joker’s grotesque appearance in the movie. The movie Joker has keloidal scars at the sides of his mouth, while the figure sports ‘cleaner’ cuts.

The paint job from the neck up is up for contention, as some collectors say that the paint seems shoddy, while others say it lends verisimilitude to the figure based on the smudged visage of Ledger’s Joker. Overall, the detail is good for the figure’s size. However, the limited articulation is disappointingly similar to figures from years ago, with only a few joints on the entire toy, including those for the elbow, upper legs, and knees.

The Joker with Crime Scene Evidence figure comes in an attractive blister card pack, with a see-through cutout showing the new Batman logo. The best Batman action figure also comes with a collectible Joker card, evidence bag, and weapon accessory (a sinister fillet knife which fits snugly into the figure’s left hand).

Another top action figure toy is the Iron Man Repulsor Power Figure that has two yellow missiles and a repulsor launcher. When the child manipulates Iron Man’s boots, blast off and landing sounds can be heard. Pushing the button on his chest causes him to declare that he is Iron Man.

Meanwhile, the Batman: The Dark Knight – The Joker with Crime Scene Evidence is a yearly favorite of kids. The Lego My Size Batman, which is 30 inches tall, is accurately proportioned to make the figure as real as possible. It has a removable cape to allow its use for dress up plays. A barrel and two boxes are provided to test the power of Spiderman’s kick.

Another favorite is the Wolverine Action Figure that shows the X-Men hero in his original costume in the 1970s. He is six inches tall and has 14 points of articulation. A Weapon X base is provided with the figure. Lastly, the Incredible Hulk action figure based on the movie is another favorite of kids.
