Three-year-olds immerse themselves pretending.  Play sets are the perfect choice for pretending.  Choose play sets that come with characters, such as farmers and animals, families, etc. Even adults will enjoy using their imagination while joining in the world of pretend.

Classic Wood Blocks

Toys that allow your child to construct his own world are definitely favorites.  Natural wood blocks are the most common chosen, but if you add a few colored ones they add a little pizzazz to the construction.  Blocks that interlock are also great choices, such as Legos and Duplo blocks.

Every child at one time or another ends up with a doctor kit. Why shouldn’t they, by the age of 3, they are a pro at doctor’s visits and know exactly what happens.  A doctor’s kit will help your child explain what happens to him when he has been on a visit. The best ones come with a stethoscope, a reflex tester, a fake syringe, and even a blood pressure pump.

Memory games are a must have for your three old. I Spy is a good example, her brain will be stimulated and she’ll have fun trying to match all those things that are alike, and show great enthusiasm the more often she is successful.
