If you have not seen the television commercial for the Air Swimmer Remote Control Inflatable Flying Shark, believe that your young boy or girl is going to love it. You may end up playing with it quite a bit as well. Adult supervision is recommended.
The Air Swimmer Remote Control Inflatable Flying Shark is a 10 x 12.5 x 2.5 inch helium toy that appears to swim through the air with smooth and life-like swimming motions. Air Swimmer fish provide hours of fun, controlled by a 40 Range Infra-red Control and powered by four AAA batteries. They can be used inside even in the smallest of rooms, displaying 360 degree turning control.
The remote control allows you to guide the Air Swimmer Remote Control Inflatable Flying Shark to the left, right, up and down with a fish-like tail movement. It is one of the most innovative remote control toys in the market.
The shark is inflated with helium and is made from durable nylon material. This toy can stay inflated for up to two weeks at a time, and can be re-inflated over and over. Inflation time varies slightly based on the user’s altitude.
The Air Swimmer Remote Control Inflatable Flying Shark is manufactured by The William Mark Corporation, which is dedicated to developing unique and quality flight performance devices. The company was founded by Mark Forti when he was only a junior in college after he invented the X-zylo. The X-zylo was originally invented for a marketing project, but stumped many at his university (including the physics professor) when they tried to discern how it flew. Mark then showed the X-zylo to his father and they filed patents for the product.
User Reviews: Pros
The Air Swimmer Remote Control Inflatable Flying Shark really moves like it does in the advertisements. It is easy to control and only takes a small amount of practice to master the steering of the shark.
Users say that the shark does stay inflated for a long time, and any store that sells helium balloons can fill it up for you when it gets low. You can also buy a tank of helium to do this at home. Putty (included) allows you to adjust for the amount of helium remaining in the shark.
User Reviews: Cons
The assembly of The Air Swimmer Remote Control Inflatable Flying Shark can be a little bit daunting, especially because the shark is a bit delicate. The video that shows how to assemble the shark is more helpful than the step-by-step instructions. You will need at least two people to assemble the shark.
Since the shark is nothing more than a mylar helium balloon, you can expect to fill it once about every ten days. Even though the directions recommend topping off the shark with air when the helium runs low, users say that this disrupts the buoyancy too much.

There are a lot of electronic and radio control toys out there this year, but this one is unique and fun. It’s hard to beat in this price range (usually just over $30 if you find it on sale.) RC toys can be quite expensive, but this one is relatively cheap. Having said that, you are going to need helium and will need to supervise the children when they play with this. Still, it can be a lot of fun for the whole family. Boys may get a little more enjoyment out of it, but there are sure to be many girls who love it as well.

We care about your opinion – good or bad. We want to get to the truth about whether the Air Swimmer Remote Control Inflatable Flying Shark is a great deal and we need your help. As far as we can tell, this is a very good deal on a cool RC toy that is good for boys or girls age 5 to 15 years old (with adult supervision, of course.)
