Best Toys 2012: Kmart Releases Fab 15 Christmas List

Last week, Kmart released their annual Fab 15 list of the Top Toys of 2012 according to them. Here at Top Toys Blog, we like to look at many different top toy lists. (In fact, we’re working on a special feature coming up that involves Best Toy Lists for 2012. Stay tuned for more on that!)

“Each year we select toys for our Fab 15 list that are sure to top the wish lists of children everywhere and deliver smiles on Christmas morning,” Hugo Malan said. He is SVP and president of Fitness, Sporting Goods and Toys at Sears Holdings.

“Parents are thrilled that this year’s list is making shopping easy by helping them identify toys that are the next big thing.”

Here is a look at Kmart’s Fab 15 pick of the best toys of 2012:

As in years past, there are quite a few toys on this list that are exclusive to Kmart. Still, many others on the list match-up with what Walmart, Toys-R-Us, and others are releasing for their top toy lists. (Toy Informer recently leaked information about their upcoming Top Toys List. We’ll be talking about that soon too.)

According to a recent Kmart survey, 70 percent of parents have purchased a modern version of a toy from their childhood for their children. This year’s list includes toys that are modern twists on classics like Holiday Barbie, Twister Dance Game and LEGO Monster Fighters.
